Install the RocketBoard controller in each tank to enable monitoring and control, then activate it by linking each controller to its respective tank.

While many functions are available without a controller, its absence greatly limits platform use. The controller performs all water and environmental measurements as well as necessary automation actions.

The installation and pre-configuration of the controller are simple and can be done by the user if familiar with electrical handling, or by an electrician. You can find more setup and installation instructions by clicking here.

Yes. The controller works in sync with the platform, continuously sending sensor data and receiving configuration parameters via the Internet. It connects through 2.4GHz Wi-Fi and includes a local antenna but also supports external SMA antennas, including long-range directional ones.

The controller must be housed in a box for protection against humidity and dust, powered between 100 and 240 Vac, and connected to a 12V / 7Ah battery. Then, wire the relays that activate aerators and feeders, and install the immersed probe. You can find more instructions by clicking here.

The RocketBoard controller can be purchased from aquaculture stores, online marketplaces, or directly from the manufacturer's website at rinaldishop.com.br.

Probes for water temperature, dissolved oxygen, and oxygen saturation (see 'Which immersed probes should I use?') can be purchased from brand representatives, online marketplaces such as Aliexpress, or directly from the RocketBoard manufacturer at rinaldishop.com.br.

Currently, three probes are approved for use with the RocketBoard controller: YSI, Renke, and Desun — available for both freshwater and saltwater. New probes may be approved if they meet the following specifications: RS-485 (ModBus) communication, 11–16 Vdc power, 0–20 mg/L oxygen reading range, and 0–40 °C temperature range. A courtesy unit must be sent to the RocketBoard manufacturer for validation.
